6th MAGNIFICENT MINIATURES - Museum Møhlmann from April 1st till June 25th 2023
My contribution to this exhibition is a series of godwits in red oilcolour on cotton. For over four decades I lived in the countryside of Northern Groningen, where the blacktaled godwits returned every year in springtime from the southern regions and from Africa for breeding in the meadows. Unfortunately, their population has decreased in the last few years. That’s why the godwit has recently been assessed for The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 2016.
